YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS: Leadership in the 21st Century

Established in 2011. This multi-year leadership program co-hosted by Yale University and the Forum of Young Global Leaders, World Economic Forum hosts participants designated by the World Economic Forum as Young Global Leaders in honor of their professional accomplishments, commitment to society, and potential to help shape the future of the world. Young Global Leaders include representatives from business, government, civil society, arts and culture, academia and media, as well as social entrepreneurs; many are also Yale World Fellows. This leadership program focuses on building the participants’ understanding of global challenges and trends, risks, and opportunities; and enhancing their unique role as leaders within their own organizations, the World Economic Forum, and the broader global community.
