INDIA – YALE PARLIAMENTARY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM
Established in 2007. Originally developed in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the India-U.S. Forum of Parliamentarians. It provides a space for Indian parliamentarians to engage in open dialogue with Yale faculty and with current and former U.S. government officials. Issues of global import are discussed, including corruption in government, political developments in the Arab world, global economic governance, political and economic developments in China, and strategy, negotiation, and applied game theory. Eighty-five members of parliament have attended this program in its seven years. In the current cabinet, eight members have participated in this program. The program is expected to begin again in 2016.
